What is Growler Rush?
Growler Rush is Vancouver's premier craft beer growler fill station. We offer 48 rotating taps of local, regional, and rare beers, plus a curated bottle selection. We use a Belgian gas mixture to ensure your beer stays fresh, carbonated, and delicious for days.
What makes Growler Rush different from other beer shops?
Our Belgian gas filling system maintains perfect carbonation and prevents oxidation. Most growler shops use basic CO2. We also have 48 rotating taps (not just 12-16), a live tap list you can check remotely, knowledgeable staff who taste everything we pour, and a focus on rare and hard-to-find beers. Plus, you can fill up your car as well!
What is a growler?
A growler is a reusable jug (usually glass, stainless steel, or ceramic) used to transport draft beer. It's the best way to take fresh craft beer home while keeping it carbonated and delicious.
What size growlers can you fill?
We fill 32oz and 64oz growlers. If you have a larger growler (over 64oz), we can fill it in 32oz increments. We do not fill containers smaller than 32oz.
What size growlers do you sell?
We sell 32oz and 64oz reusable growlers. The fill is purchased separately.
Can I bring my own growler?
Absolutely! Bring your own clean growler and we'll fill it for just the price of the beer. Please make sure it's clean. We can only fill clean containers.
Do you fill crowlers (canned growlers)?
Unfortunately, we don't have crowler-sealing equipment at this time.
How long does a growler fill stay fresh?
Thanks to our Belgian gas system, your growler will stay fresh and carbonated for up to 7 days when stored properly in the fridge. Once opened, drink it within 24-48 hours for best quality.
How much does a growler fill cost?
Prices vary based on the beer. Check our specials for daily discounts (like Happy Hour: $5 off select 64oz fills from 12PM-4PM).
What kind of beers do you offer?
We focus on Pacific Northwest craft breweries (especially local Vancouver and Portland beers), plus rare regional releases, seasonal specialties, and hard-to-find styles. Our 48 taps rotate constantly. Expect IPAs, stouts, sours, lagers, saisons, barrel-aged beers, and more.
How can I see what's on tap?
Download the DigitalPour app and search "Growler Rush." You'll see our live tap list with current keg levels updated in real time. You can also see our current taps and keg levels on our Live Tap List page.
Do you have a bottle and can selection?
Yes! We stock a rotating selection of specialty bottles and cans you won't find at regular stores.
How many samples can I try?
You can sample up to 5 draft beers per visit (this is the legal limit). That's plenty to help you discover something you'll love.
Do you sell kegs?
Yes! Come in person and fill out a keg order form. Please allow up to one week for your keg to arrive in store. Some products are not available in keg format.
Can you fill my personal keg?
No, we're not licensed to fill customer-owned kegs. However, we can sell you a full keg to pick up or order for you.
How far in advance should I order a keg?
We recommend ordering at least one week in advance to ensure availability.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! We sell gift certificates in any amount. Gift cards must be purchased in person, we can't process phone or online orders for gift cards at this time.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards.
Can I drink beer at Growler Rush?
We're a growler fill station, not a bar, so beer is for takeout only. But you're welcome to up to 5 samples before you buy!
